Indian rupee strengthened for the seventh consecutive session


The Indian Rupee strengthened for the seventh consecutive session, its longest winning streak since February 2017, against the US Dollar as falling crude oil prices reduced fears of fiscal slippage and higher inflation.

Traders said dollar’s weakness against some currencies overseas and increased selling of the greenback by exporters and banks also supported the rupee.

INR vs Dollar Exchange Rate Today : The Indian Rupee strengthened by 35 paise to 71.11 against the US Dollar.
