China-US trade talks – Oil prices rises
Oil prices rose on Friday, shaking off early losses after China said it would hold talks with the U.S. government on Jan. 7-8 to look for solutions to a trade dispute between the world’s two biggest economies.
Gold prices decline again – Earnometer Gold
In Delhi, prices of gold of 99.9 per cent and 99.5 per cent purities declined by Rs 145 each to Rs 32,690 and Rs 32,540 per 10 gram, respectively.

Bank of Maharashtra shares gain 2 per cent
Bank of Maharashtra Ltd said it will raise upto Rs 4,498 crore by issuing shares to the government. Bank of Maharashtra shares traded 2.18% up at Rs 15.45 per share.
Eicher Motors shares fall 4 percent
Eicher Motors declined for a second session today and fell as much as 4.24% to Rs 20,265 per share. The company said total sales of its Royal Enfield two-wheeler division declined 13% to 58,278 units in December, compared to 66,968 units in the same
